TravelPerk Money20/20.
TravelPerk’s seamless systems and beautiful UI enables it’s customers to make business travel simpler. It’s a corporate travel tool used amongst some of the worlds largest brands. They make sure your travel follows compliance and is easy to use even if you’re super busy - it’s a simple enough task to book a whole trip for your whole team in a short space of time.
With the strategy going into this project being a clean and simple look using smart match cuts and kinetic typography. We set about some tests of varying pace and landed on the pace you see above and below. It’s pretty fast but also slow enough on screen that it’s readable to most people. This keeps it engaging and exciting. We kept it quite simple and strayed away from any crazy kinetic typography or transitional movements. Focusing on clean and traditional dynamic movements.
These animations were made for Money 20/20 and BTS events for 2024. They were shown on screens at the booths to help draw customers in and explain the product. At BTS shorter-form content was used on extra screens around the expo to draw customers in. These animations were designed to be effective and eye catching even at distance.

TravelPerk is all about simplicity and making things simpler. So the motion design had to feel fluid and carefree to reflect this. It had to feel as though it was effortless as it moved and ebbed and flowed. We did this with clever match cuts, simple kinetic type and free flowing movement.
